Sweets and Seats is... well... just that. The "sweets" part of it is self-evident. Boba tea in a variety of flavors, shaved ice, and-- my favorite part--a whole case of mouthwatering desserts, including an irresistible selection of macarons.
I say "irresistible," because about halfway through our visit, a small child dropped hers at a nearby table and immediately burst into tears. Same, kid.
The "seats" part, though, merits further discussion. Because at Sweets and Seats, the atmosphere will make you return just as much as the strawberry shortcake.
The counter and dessert case fill most of one section of the shop, with the seating in the next. The dining room is spacious, with plenty of space to hang out in a variety of ways. Want to come with family or friends? This is a perfect spot. Have a project you're working on? Bring your sketchpad, notebook, or device and enjoy a laid-back environment to work, study, or create.
